Our directors are a team of individuals that are trained and experienced in teaching all aspects of our theater musical productions including acting, vocal, choreography, staging, costuming, stage presence and so much more. They focus on each students needs and talents, helping them to grow while working toward the final production. They instill a family atmosphere for the cast members that creates support and teamwork from start of rehearsals to show day, resulting in a 'theater family' that will enhance friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
Suda Yantlss-Colon
Director and choreographer
Suda Yantiss-Colon is a 30+ year resident of Oldsmar and has been involved in numerous activities and organizations in her community throughout her residency. She is most known for her dance program with the City of Oldsmar for over 27 years, as "Miss Suda", teaching students from age 4&up in the art of dance and musical performance. She is additionally honored to organize and coordinate the Oldsmar Community Chorus seen at Oldsmar‘s Winter Wonderland.
She has directed and produced the OPAL Theater shows since 2019 carrying on the over 20 plus year program for the City of Oldsmar. Shows have included "The Lion King Jr.", "Aladdin Jr.", "Beauty and the Beast Jr." , "Shrek The Musical Jr." and "The Little Mermaid Jr", "Moana Jr", "Peter Pan Jr", "Pinocchio Jr", "Frozen Jr" and "Alice in Wonderland Jr". Her talents include seamstress, costume design, set design, painting, dance, staging, program design and production, photography, lighting, sound, music editing and much more. Suda is joyously married to her husband. Hector Colon, who works alongside her helping with props, sets, scenery lights, sound, photography and more and often joins her on the stage for an acting role or salsa number..."we just love to dance together!"

Miss Peggy has been a professional actor /singer/teacher over half of her life. She has performed on Broadway and national tour of NINE, numerous off Broadway shows, Regional and Cabaret performances and served over 35 yrs in New York City professionally. 
Her credits include: Renata U/S Critic (Nine), Mama Rose (Gypsy), Carmen (Carmen), Acid Queen (Tommy).  Mary Mag (Jesus Christ Superstar), Adelaide (Guys and Dolls), LAST SESSION, SLEEPING BEAUTY , Narrator in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING.. to name just a FEW. 
She has performed with incredibly talented Actors and Directors and has been on stage in some of the greatest theaters in the US. She has been involved in numerous regional and off Broadway productions, workshops, recordings, voiceovers and teaching. 
She also co-wrote and produced her own CD “South for the Winter” by Michael Tester available on YouTube. She teaches voice and piano at Ruth Eckerd Hall and is also a Master Swim instructor. She has two incredible boys, now Men, and states “They are my World”.
