OPAL Theater, or Oldsmar Performing Artists League, has offered musical and dramatic theater for over 20 years with the City of Oldsmar. In 2019, Suda Yantiss-Colon took over direction of the program to begin producing popular shows like Disney and Dreamworks productions offering our local community a higher caliber of performance with favorite titles of young and old like "The Lion King Jr", "Aladdin Jr", "Beauty and the Beast Jr", "Shrek Jr The Musical", "The Little Mermaid Jr", "Moana Jr", "Mary Poppins Jr", "Peter Pan Jr" and their upcoming 2024 April performance of "My Son Pinocchio Jr" .
The move into these popular titles has seen audiences of over 600 guests in attendance to the pride and honor of our performers and families. Since 2019, OPAL Theater has been performing two shows per year in April and October teaching young students music, dance, costuming, staging, family and so much more.
